About

The SWALL Bulletin is the newsletter of the Southwestern Association of Law Libraries. It is published online three times per year, generally in the spring, summer, and fall.

The Bulletin is intended to provide a forum for SWALL members to inform their colleagues about the organization and its mission, educational opportunities, and events associated with SWALL. In addition, the Bulletin provides members the chance to publish articles on topics related to law librarianship like legal bibliography, services of law libraries, and the role of law librarians. In the SWALL Bulletin, readers will find items such as the SWALL President’s address, meeting minutes, reports evaluating annual meetings, updates about committee work, notices describing grants that members may apply for, and articles on a range of topics like access to information, the use of social media in the legal information world, and pilot projects in law libraries.
